Two badminton players from Malaysia are being investigated by a sport’s universe ruling physique over suspicions of match-fixing, Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) General Manager Michelle Chai told the New Straits Times journal on Tuesday, but regulating a dual players.

“We have been sensitive of a players being dangling and a processes that will take place,” Chai was quoted observant by a paper. “We have to be clever in progressing confidentiality.”

Chai pronounced a Badminton World Federation (BWF) had created to a BAM about a dual players late final year.

“We have to safeguard they have a satisfactory hearing, and not a hearing with a open or media. As this is a BWF investigation, we have to wait for them to make any announcement,” she was quoted saying.

Under a BWF’s rules, players found guilty of match-fixing can be criminialized for life.

“This really tarnishes a repute of Malaysian badminton, so we wish to make a clever mount that BAM will not endure any form of compare regulating or gambling,” BAM President Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria was quoted revelation a publication.

No-one during a BWF or BAM could immediately be reached for comment.
